Alright...this is going to get complicated trying to describe, but I'd like some help. The good ol' days of a single keyboard hooked up to a computer are gone, and my rig has gotten a tad complicated, and I'm looking for advice on how best to connect it all. I figure someone here probably has a similar set up Here's my gear: Chapman stick (so stereo outputs) V Synth Gt Keystation pro 88 (midi controller) M-audio fasttrack pro Guitar Rig 3 Rig Kontrol pedal Software is Ableton The v synth gt has its audio out going into the fasttrack pro. I have midi out going from the fasttrack pro to the v synth's midi in. This way I can use the keystation to control it if I want. The keystation is hooked in like normal to the fasttrack. This worked fine. Ableton used the m-audio audio driver and I was able to use everything at the same time. Now I have the chapman and the rig kontrol. The thought I had was that the stereo outputs would go in inputs 1 and 2, and then have the audio out go back into the fasttrack. However, from messing around with it, the rig kontrol's outputs only seem to be audible/active when the audio driver in ableton is set to the rig kontrol, meaning that the audio's on the fasttrack side aren't active/audible, and I can't use the two audio drivers at the same time. If anyone can share some ideas, it'd be much appreciated. |
