Hi all, I recently purchased a 2005 stick around a month or so ago, and yesterday one of the melody filter positions quit producing sound. The other 3 positions seem to work just fine. Few questions: 1. Any insights into the issue? 2. Is there anyone whom is capable of fixing Villex blocks? 2. Anyone have a replacement ACTV-2 or PASV-4 they would part with? |

I had a similar problem with a Gibson Les Paul that I bought today. I got out my multi-meter and did a bit of troubleshooting. The pickups were fine. One of the pots was bad. I took the pot apart and was able to repair it. I'm back in business. If you don't have electronics skills, maybe find someone who can do some basic troubleshooting for you.
