Just wanted to thank everyone for their posts/advice/whatnot in this thread as I now have a Stick. Polycarbonate, #2464, and am totally happy with it. Also, while I'm certainly no expert after just a week, it actually does make sense to me and I can play it somewhat. Although ask me again in a year LOL.

I think I greatly benefitted from having a LinnStrument though. The rows of pads are basically like the treble side as they're 4ths apart, and while not at all like a Stick it conceptually does translate a bit.
