Excellent!

My hope is that a Bamboo Stick will hold up better than my Padauk Stick in the dry, Canadian Prairie winter. We'll see...;)

My Bamboo SB8 4ths is probably right behind your Bagman . My Padauk grand has been holding up nicely in the opposite environment you dwell in. Never had a Bamboo, we’ll see.

However Emmett was constructing Bamboo Sticks in '08, mine is very resilient to temp/humidity changes. I think. Hasn't been out of the room for much of it's life, but considering New Jersey weather (If you don't like the weather, wait 15mins.) she's pretty stable. I do notice though, when I pick her up to tune her, if she's ALL #or-, I give the truss (single) a twitch.

Excellent. I'm expecting Bamboo to hold up during the dry winters here.

BTW all...the DHL log jam has flowed. New Stick arrived today!

I’m just over 12 months waiting for a 12-string railboard. Hoping to get it before year’s end!

Just got an email from Jeff today notifying me that my Stick is finished and ready to go. I've been patiently waiting all this time (ordered it in 3/21) but now I'm super-hyped up and it can't get here fast enough now heh. :)

Awesome. First stick? What type?

I've owned one (actually two) before. I don't know if that helps or hurts the patience waiting for my new one.

I traded for a megatar a few months back. It is strung like a bass in 4ths + melody in 4ths rather than the reverse fifths of the stick. I just couldn't get into it. Thought it would be a good way to practice while I wait, but I much prefer the stick's tuning. Will see if I can find a buyer once my stick is ready.

Yep, first Stick. 10-string, rosewood, Stickup, matched reciprocal tuning, white pearl dot inlays, chrome tuners. I went with light gauge strings; on guitar and especially bass, I prefer extra-light strings as I really like to bend and twang 'em.
