Anyone know if their will be a Chapman stick camp at the Interlochen arts academy in 2023?

Where is Interlochen Arts Academy?

Hi all,

We have a "save the date" of August 2-5 (Wed-Sat) of 2023. Details are still to come and I will start a new thread when we're ready.

This is a bit later in the summer than normal for us due to circumstances beyond my control. This might work out better though as it's further away from the July 4th weekend making the area a bit less hectic.

Our workshop will be taking place the last week of the Summer Arts Camp so we will still be sharing the campus with the young music campers which is always a bonus. If you're willing to stick around for an extra day, Sunday the 6th will be the annual performance of "Les Preludes" which is the last Summer Arts Camp performance of the season. It's free of charge and quite spectacular featuring the World Youth Symphony as well as some other programs including the ballet program. It all culminates in scenes like the one pictured below. An almost 100 year tradition at Interlochen.

Will it be worth doing if my stick is still lost in DHL? even tho i dont live in Canada!
