Dual Bass Reciprocal string gauge
Anyone knows the gauges for a 10 string 34" stick ligth set? I want to try the dual bass reciprocal tuning, and i am using:
1. C .014" 2. G .024" 3. D .036" 4. A .052" 5. E .076" 6. B .095" 7. F# .065" 8. C# .040" 9. G# .022" 10.D# .013"
I can't find any information in the Stick web page, anyone measured the string gauge with a micrometer? Thank you

Re: Dual Bass Reciprocal string gauge
It´s an early 1983 10 string stick, modified with an adjustable bridge installed, a custom pickup with two poles for the 5 string, and non adjustable truss rod. Thank you

Thank you The set you have is too light on the low end, and slightly too light on some of the other 5ths strings. For the B you should have at least a 106, but a .118 is recommended for light gauge. On a 34" scale instrument these would all be open strings This would be the recommendation I would give, but you have to be careful without an adjustable truss rod. Also, does it have screws for the nut? 1. C .014" 2. G .024" 3. D .036" 4. A .052" 5. E .087" 6. B .118" 7. F# .076" 8. C# .044" 9. G# .024" 10.D# .013" It's an unusual combination of features on your instrument. What serial number is it?

Re: Dual Bass Reciprocal string gauge
Thank you!
Does this values correspond to the Stick light string set for Double Bass Reciprocal tuning? I was thinking of buying one.
Serial number is 1073. Originally with slotted tail-piece, i ordered many years ago an adjustable bridge, which was installed by a luthier, following Emmett instructions. I changed the pickup too, with two poles for every string. And yes, screws in the nut for each string.

Re: Dual Bass Reciprocal string gauge
Mine has heavy gauge strings and I measured them at last string change a couple of weeks ago
1. C .016" 2. G .031" 3. D .031" 4. A .062" 5. E .094" 6. B .125" 7. F# .102" 8. C# .052" 9. G# .031" 10.D# .016"
Thought it was kinda strange the way strings 2 and 3 seem to be the same gauge
