Pat Braden has plenty of videos on his YT channel, and I particularly love this one :

Nothing like some songs with a clean Stick!

Pat Braden! Northwest Territories's finest. I believe he is the only Stick player in NWT. Many in the Western Canadian music scene know him. A mainstay at the numerous music festivals up there.

While at work today, I was thinking about Greg Howard who passed away one year agao, and began to look for some videos on YT. While I was searching for some YT rip-off videos from his VHS at Miller's (his duet with Darrell Rose is still a favorite of mine), I found this strangely unknown recording of a show he did for a local brodcast show (?). Currently listening to it, it's quite nice, even if the sound is well... ok.

I just watched all the music in this topic. Very very interesting stuff. As a matter of fact, Remco Helbers from Born for Bliss was a good friend of the singer in the band i played bass in. So we met a few times and i heard that he was playing chapman stick and this instrument always was in the back of my head and eventually lead me to buying my 12 string graphite grand many years later (after noodling a short period on a Koyabu). So i must thank Remco after so many years for introducing me to the chapman stick.
The world is small.
Peter
