Came across this a few weeks ago (don't ask), some guy named Jason Star on Stick. I'd say the album cover is better than the music https://youtu.be/XpSxniVFmXA

Re: digging into the depths of the Internet
Unknown to me! Great if you love the excessive 80's vibe I guess... Thanks for sharing BTW.
Still digging, and found this track featuring some Chapman Stick played by maestro Marco Cerletti (his album Random and Providence is one of my fave, period)
A different kind of track I did with guitar legend Dean Brown in 2004 on his Road Warrior CD. Personnel on this CD is outstanding https://youtu.be/bvg4NHDHxrM

Very nice Steve. Here's the alternative URL I found that works from here in the UK (where the above shows URL as unavailable).
A question : I'm looking for a YT video I saw years ago, from a Stick player from Canada (I guess, but not sure) playing in a small festival, but I miss his name. The video was more a story telling than a Stick performance. If I remember it well enough, the story was about a mine (?). Does anyone remember this?
I'm from Canada. I'll ask around. In the meantime, enjoy this tune.

Finally found it
I found the atmosphere quite magical, even if I didn't really try to understand the lyrics.
