Are there any Stick players in or around Edinburgh, Scotland? I'm getting close (I hope!) to being able to buy my first Stick but would love to actually have a go on one of the things first, just in case I'm allergic or something. I'd be willing to pay for a shot on one...

No, still never played one since my one shot about 30 years ago in the basement of Rose Morris in Denmark Street, London. Still, I can play my 6-string bass (which is a damping nightmare) with one hand and keys with the other so I think I should be able to get to grips with it.
