What are the simlarities and differences between the Alto Stick and the Stick Guitar? Is the SG12 a twelve string version of the Alto? (same scale)

Yes, the Alto and the SG-12 are both the same scale (guitar length).

The Alto has the same fretboard width as a standard 10 string Stick, and the SG-12 has the same fretboard width as a Grand Stick.

Hi Ben,

That's a good way to think of it. The short scale means that the strings can be tuned a little bit higher than on similar fret positions for a long-scale instrument. So the highest pitch offered is A, which is at the same "scale" location as the G would be on a Classic tuning.
