Not posted anything for a while....I've given myself just over a week to get going on this. So here's the idea , not complete, but I kind of know how I imagine it finished. Its a bit of an exercise also in keeping the left hand pumping along whilst the melody does its thing. Melody is a little vague but thats next on the list. Now I'm desperately trying to improvise over the consistent Em & A as a solo, thats the real goal. When it works its cool. Cobbled together in spare moments on the ship as usual , coming to from a remote part of offshore Australia. |

Sounds great. I can hear how its shaping up and loving the feel of the tune. I think Im at about the same stage. Its taken me a week to get into the tune and feel the groove I want. My left hand thing seems to be locked in but putting it all together is always the challenge. Thanks for posting and cant wait to hear the rest. Was this on you alto? rob |
