Greg mentioned wanting to seperate the tunings a bit better so maybe this'll work.

I use Matched Reciprocal but I think Baritone Melody would be fun.

I just switched from Baritone Melody to Classic. I wanted to play some pieces that have a higher range. So far, I'm liking it better. Once I get my 12-string I will have both classic and baritone tunings!

I really love the BM 10-string tuning. When I was still primarily playing 10, I did miss the high range every so often but not nearly as often as I looked for a lower range when I first played Classic. As a solo instrument, it seem more "unified" to me to have that much overlap. With the band, the BM tuning provided more of a guitar range on the melody side. I could get some really cool distorted power chords with the right hand.

My 10 String XG should arrive this week and I chose the Classic tuning just as a place to start. I tried all three of the tunings on my NS before settling on the Guitar Lower Octave. It just made sense to me. The Classic tuning for my 10 string just seems like the logical place to start.
