Post The Great 4 week Challenge!
Back on ship,I've set a 4 week challenge, basically a song a week.
I actually have real work with the STICK in Jan but am a few songs short , so nothing like a rediculous deadline to get one moving.

Hoping to churn out one a week more or less complete ( insert worried face here).
As an aside my noise cancelling cans failed a while back so in a fit of annoyance with a 5 hour delay at the airport I bought a pair of Sennhieser PXC550's, heavily reduced on sale at 399. Awesome , cable or bluetooth, flying is enjoyable again but the real winner is onboard stick practice, the Alto Sings through the Apogee interface and these headphones. Meanwhile the background broadband ship rumble/noise , which isnt much , is just gone . Win Win, Win, :)
Anyway target songs:
1- Wrapped around your finger/The Police, going good 3 days left. Instrumental but trying a vocal version preferably.
2- Greg Howards great online tutorial for Time afterTime by Cyndi Lauper.I started this a while back, really great arrangement and lesson. Forgotton most but will get it back quick enough. Worth a look.
3- Isnt she lovely - one my Guru Steve A showed me but I havnt got to yet.
4- Girl From Ipanema , main themes also from Steve.
5- Original Instrumental I posted the bones of a while back , nice percussive left hand groove I picked up from Josh G, great independence training.
Still improving Strong Enough Sheryl Crow , previously posted.

Oops thats 6, , see how we go, there are others. I really want to find a way to do Walk on the Wild side by Lou Reed , with vocals, would be a fun song live and a winner in certain places I go. Not really an Alto Song though with that bass line, and Grand Stick is Languishing at home.
Thats my plan , when I'm not watching Scotts daily Video !!
