This came up in my youtube feed. I never get tired of hearing people talk about the stick. Not used to seeing Tony with the Goatee. Love his playing though.

Always a kind and generous soul, Tlev.... An incredible talent who embodies the best of the human being..... All of the great records he has played on, two of my favorites are Andy Summers' "World Gone Strange" and Steps Ahead "NYC", recorded in 1989.THis record is always in my playlists... I urge you to listen to the Steps Ahead record, as there is some incredible Stick playing here. Check out, "Stick Jam"... playing the bass side exclusively, listen for some of the nuances in his approach to the groove and rhythm .
