Y'know the situation, you are just playing for fun, you have the pedalboard and the amps all fired up, the drummer counts in and.... GO! :D

Haha So, what do you play? Do you guys have a sort of "default" riff that you like to do? If so what is it? Wanna share a clip...? (It would be cool to see a bunch of clips of y'all rocking...)

GEPH has a bunch of improv games that we've come up with for when we jam. Sometimes it just turns into us poorly quoting hilarious songs

Sort of a not-too-structured I-IV-V blues with III-VI-II-V-I elements w/dim and aug changes in there where it works. I try to do it in lesser used keys like Bb, Ab and Eb, major and minor. But C or A will do. I usually do that for 10 or 15 minutes as a warm up and then on to more structured things I'm trying to perfect.

I have always loved Air for these kinds of things...slightly jazzy, solid melody rhytmn, very open and "airy"... (heh)

"La femme d'argent" from Air on their Moon Safari album:

EDIT: Whoops! I thought the question was "what do you play to?"

Anyway...carry on
