ACTV2
Has anyone tried to mod this pickup so that in mono mode both sides go to ring instead of tip? This would save me having to go through ABY boxes. Thanks...

Re: ACTV2
Perhaps an easier solution would be to make a TRS cable hat swaps the tip / ring on opposite ends of the cable?

Re: ACTV2
should be fairly easy. I'm pretty sure the battery is not switched from the ring (unlike most active guitars and basses), so you'd only have to swap the ring and tip wires. Jaap

Re: ACTV2
Just use a mono guitar cable. Or do you need to switch on the fly between mono and stereo?

Re: ACTV2
I'd like to be able to switch on the fly. I half recall a discussion here about this long ago talking about noise being induced if the ring and tip are swapped, but I can't seem to find it.

Re: ACTV2
I had a 12 string with PASV-4 that had the wires swapped. Worked fine and I didn't experience any extra noise with it.
