| Post subject: | Stick w/guitar frets ques. |
The STICK I'm currently using is #239 ironwood with guitar frets. Bought from Stick enterprises last month. The frets edges feel a little rough when sliding . Is this normal with this type of fret? I'm new to the Stick. |

Go to StewMac.com and get one of these things for $14. If you have the hand tool skill set to file your own fingernails you ought to be able to take care of this yourself. Go slow and watch what you're doing. |

Hi, the problem is the inter part of the frets. Length of the frets . the frets seem squared. |

I'm not sure what you mean by "inter part" and "squared". Are the fret ends hanging over the point where the wood stops? |

Hi, The fret itself, if you had you're finger in the center of the stick and slid up or down. Not a smooth ride over the frets. |

On the bass side not so noticeable due to the heavier strings. Melody side really noticeable. Due to the light gauge strings. Stick is in classic tuning,light gauge. |

If it came from S.E. a month ago it should be PERFECT. If there's something you think is wrong phone S.E. directly. I actually talked to Grace this week when ordering strings. (Emmett's daughter and Stick setter-upper) |

How hard are you pressing down? You only need to press down with enough pressure to keep the string against the fret. |
