Post Flatwound / Tapewound Strings?
Just curious if anyone's tried flats or tapes other Stick or Railboard? I love the feel of flats on my Fretless bass and didn't know if they would cross over well to Stick?

I'm curious to see who'll chime in here, most folks swear by SE strings so it will be interesting to hear any stories? Most likely non-Stickists I would imagine.

Here's a demo I recorded in 1982 with my old #466 ironwod stick (before tracking the vocals). At that time, I would record on a TEAC 8 track machine. There were flatwound strings on the Stick and the bass side sounds quite badass. I remember using a two hand bass part mixed technique of tapping and slapping the notes to produce harmonics.Check it out.
