Post Re: New Stick
I remember checking out bagpipes (used). Starting around three grand. I settled on the Autoharp. After years of searching found one at a pawnshop w/ p.u. Schmidt mid-70's he was asking $100 I got it for $80 my guitar guy said it's worth $400 such a deal. I would like to get a trombone (played in highschool) but my friend/landlord would definitely throw me out.

Inherited the Autoharp from my wife's grandmother who was a concert pianist and teacher it's a fun thing to play. where I come from in Spain they have a thing called the gaita, originally made from a goatskin, smaller version of a bagpipe due to the Celtic influence in Northwestern Spain. Think I'll look for one of those

Post Re: New Stick
For the longest time I wanted an Autoharp because I thought the beginning of "Take A Pebble" by ELP was played on one. Then I saw a live video of Keith Emerson playing the inside of his grand piano. Whoops. That's o.k. I don't have the room or money for a grand piano.

Congrats on your new Stick, looks great! Focus on that, forget the bagpipes (at least for now) lol! Enjoy!

Congrats on the 12 string Rey. You'll be 12 deep in strings now.
