Yes, I remember the guy behing the Solene had a quite poor website a decade ago and then he disappeared from the surface of the internet. Quite curious to put my hands on this, it should be strange to play a tubular stringed instrument

The builder/inventor sent me a blue model about three years ago to get some commentary.. Action is very low with a unique zigzag zag fret layout. Actually has a warm sound..
At LBJF I let Stanley Jordan try it. Interesting instrument but it remains in my closet.

The builder/inventor sent me a blue model about three years ago to get some commentary.. Action is very low with a unique zigzag zag fret layout. Actually has a warm sound..
At LBJF I let Stanley Jordan try it. Interesting instrument but it remains in my closet.

OK, I should look further. The shop is listed in Waterford Michigan. I was just there two days ago. Ive seen this exact instrument. They must stil have it. It's not listed in their inventory. I like doing trades with these guys. If one of you want it, let me know, I might be out that way again this weekend I could check it out.
