I really like the stand he made!
Would love to know more info about the black metal holder that interfaces with the Stick belt hook - it looks like a custom job not regular drum hardware... any clues?

Kev just re-checked this post and your's and Scott's adaptions gonna give it a go (I like like the leather belt bastardization) now that I got my super-cool standing-Stick stand happening. It's true liberation time!

On your snair drum stand set-up, what was used for the cradle piece on top to slip your stick on to. This looks like a great set-up for players who plays sitting down and standing

I have the same question. Is that something you fabricated? Can we see some pics or details - very interesting...

I'm referring to the fabricated piece on top of the snair drum stand where the stick belt hook slips on to. Cambria from SE is sending me a belt hook piece for a stick so I can have a metal shop here in Omaha fabricate the piece. After I get it fabricated I can take pictures and give dimensions of the piece so anyone can dupicate

The first approach is pretty much the same principle behind the "Megastrap" that came with my Megatar.
