Ouch , I flew back from Indonesia the other night on Garuda the Indonesian Carrier. At check in she said can that go in the cabin, of course I said its flown all over the world as hand carry. And that was that. The Alto Stick is a bit smaller so its usually not a problem in the soft case. The Airline that scares me most is my own Qantas , which is mostly OK and once in a while I get stopped by someone having a grumpy day, but its always gone on with me. And compared to some bags I see people taking on to planes..........!

I flew united to California for a stick seminar, and my stick almost went through the hard case. my ten string grand was ok thankfully. satine bloodwood seems pretty tough. the case didnt hold up though, they had me send it to texas for repair, it came back the same, they did nothing to it. i told them i was not happy with the repair, and they wanted me to send it back again. it took them a month to not fix it the first time. i gave up and called it a battle wound. Emmet saw it and tweaked it for me for free as well as doing a setup for me for free, that was before i sent it to texas. Conclusion Stick enterprises has better service than United Airlines.
