Wow... Interesting though. Proves there are many ways of getting a straight neck. Looks like he should've used acidproof stainless steel though. That rod could do well with a bath in evapo

The polycarbonate stick is already quite heavy. I recon I'd prefer to remove some material before adding steel into the equation.

Some googleing also revealed this.. looks like the guy is just about to install a truss rod. I'll follow his project and maybe get some more ideas..
