I was lucky this weekend. I played in 2 different events and that was awsome. We have here in Québec what we call "Journées de la Culture"...well...Cultural days (something close to that)...and Saturday I was playing bass and guitar for a jazz presentation. It was with another guitarist and a saxophonist. We were playing outside and unfortunatly my recording is'nt good...too much wind into the microphones of my Zoom. We didn't have a sound system and it was not possible to take a direct connexion. Yesterday (Sunday), it was totally different. I was asked to play for people who were invited to draw a live model. I took about 30 pictures of this event and I also played about 1h45 improvising on my stick. This time it's good. A very good signal on my Zoom...I took the output of my small amp and the recording is good. I'll do a montage with these pics and put a part of what I did...a little bit later though...so many projects on the table for now. But...be patient and I'll come back with something nice. I would do this every weekend...lol. |
