Hey bro....welcome and congrats! Yes there is a sonic difference between the two, so you should endeavour to get yourself an amp that will provide phantom power. Cheers, Kev |

Hi Kev, Tanks for the info. The thing is that I have an Line6 Helix and was really planning to use it with the Railboard. Btw the Helix is a wondetful piece of gear! Maybe I can use something like an Art Dual pre usb before the Helix to benefit from phantom power, and the active mode... Again, all about waiting

Hey tiega, just posting to commiserate. I ordered a Railboard this week and got a waiting time like yours, 2-4 months. Our instruments may be in the same production run, or maybe yours a run earlier than mine. Post when you get it! |

Hi forum, As promised a short update. My Railboard is now ready for shipping .I am then entering the hardest time of waiting period...
