Post Now it is just about waiting.....
Hi all,

if I'm correct this is my first post on this forum.
After years wanting a stick, I finally ordered my first one !!! :)
It will be a black Railboard with black and gold tuners and glitter gold linear inlays. Tuning will be DBM.
The waiting time is estimated to 2-4 months. Let's wait then!

The waiting.... is the hardest part.

And then, there's not a lot of sleep and many, many questions. Thankfully, we are all lining up to receive those questions and welcome you with open arms.

Sounds like the DARK KNIGHT model Brett was scheming about a few years back. Can't wait to see it!

In fact I already have a question about Railboard.
I know it can work on passive or active mode.
Is there sonic difference between the two modes? It is, as far as I searched not mentioned anywhere.
Are the filters working in passive mode or do you need phantom power ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Greg (Howard) is the best qualified person to answer that. I know he put some videos on this forum...I guess you should do a small research here and there...

Alain,

Thanks for the reply. I watched videos about R-block and in all I have the impression that only active mode is used.
I hope Greg will see this post and will tell a bit more.
