One Stickists that seems to be forgotten is Larry Tuttle. Check out his (1999?) album "Through the gates" Along with all the others mentioned, I'd certainly put this on the list.

Hey awesome...thanks guys. This is great. Might take a few more weeks than I thought to grab them all.
I really appreciate it.

Nothing to add regarding Greg's Stick Figures record. To me it is the quintessential "solo Stick" recording.
For me ... the two records that probably had the biggest impact were: Cides - Primitivo Gordian Knot - Gordian Knot
I loved these records just because they were the complete package. They were "music first" and used the Stick as a means to an end. I absolutely played the hell out of them.
Along the same lines I would have to add: King Crimson - Discipline, Beat Tom Griesgraber - solo, duo with Jerry M, or duo with Bert Lams Dave Matthews Band - "The Dreaming Tree" from "Before These Crowded Streets" featuring Mr Howard on Stick and an all around great tune anyway
And an honorable mention to: Third Door Down - Refraction
The latter being a gorgeous collection of pop tunes featuring two Stick players and some killer vocals.

Holy Shit...Greg is playing on "The Dreaming Tree" for DMB.
Damn...I have loved that song since that album came out back in the late 90's. Wow...mind blown.
I have the gordian knot album...good stuff for sure.

Forgot about the Gordian Knot. One of the best albums out there for sure.

What? No one mentioned Tony Levin, solo stuff as well as a hired gun.

Based on what I have heard so far, I can certainly recommend the new GEPH album. Out today!

Let us not forget Per Boysen, "Stick Street" vol. 1&2, or "beyond the beyond and further beyond" And also Jeff Pearce, "with evening above" and "in the season of fading light" among his other stuff. Both touch well upon the ethereal.
