Hello, I'm a newcomer, living in Boston, and interested in learning to play the Stick. Currently I play piano and digeridoo.

I don't know any local Stick players. Are there any other forum members in the Boston area, willing to spend 30 minutes showing me your instrument and how it works?

Hi I'm in CT but I gig in Boston a few times a year. Keep an eye out for my name if you come to a gig I'd be happy to let you try out a stick. Also If you want to drive 2 hours I could show you.

I currently live in NJ but am originally from the suburbs north of the city. All my family and friends are still there and I make the trip back several times per year. I'm expecting to be in town on Saturday the 19th of December. My time will be somewhat limited, but you haven't hooked up with someone else by then and you're not too far away, maybe we can work something out.

I live in Hudson NH ... it's a good hour to an hour and a half away from town. (When there's no traffic on RT 93) I would think there is someone in town who plays considering all the music schools in Boston. Maybe you should place an add in the Boston Phoenix or post an add at the music schools. You're bound to find some Stick player who will be happy to "give you a tour."
