Post another stick stand (cheap) solution
originally i took this from Guillermo Cides -so all credits go to him

what you need :

guitar stand with wide neck holder (8 cd wide to hold 10 string standard stick) - $12

pita bread holder for microwave oven-(yes!) need to be wide enough to hold around the stand fork- $10

two velcro scotch tapes - cheap :)

Hi boaz
i'm not sure i get it...
What's the pita holder made of? Tissue?
Don't you fear after some time the weight of the stick might broke the stuff (and your stick at the same time)?

it is made of double layer thick cloth which wraps around the stand plus the velcro holds it tight to the stand fork - so it won't fall

here's another pic which may clarify this

Post Re: another stick stand (cheap) solution
lol I made my own stand too; It took about 10 min. I might get serious and fab up something cooler, (Or just buy one from SE) but this will do the trick. Try not to laugh, I think it cost me $9.00 for the guitar stand, which I just bent to fit the Stick neck, and sewed up a piece of cloth around the neck holder. For the base, I simply cut a small piece of 2x4 about 10in, and stapled the remnants of the cloth around it. lol I like the Pita one, though hahaha
