Post Older GK-2a
When I got my Stick 3 years ago it came with a a GK-2a installed. I didn't have anything to use it with so I removed it and stored it. I've now got a GR-55 and want to use the GK.

I went to put it on tonight and noticed 2 issues.

1- The action is currently perfect. Nice and low with no buzzes. The GK sits too tall and bumps into the strings. I could raise the bridge screws (seems a shame) or I could shave down the machined ledge to lower the divided pickup.

2-the mounting location for the GK wart is right in the way of the battery (ACTV-2).

Thoughts?

As far as the mounting location, it's not a huge issue to remove the pickup housing and replace the battery. Its what I do on mine. 3-4 minutes tops.

How is it mounted? Mine had double-sided tape. Would require new tape each time. Maybe Velcro?
