I have two half fretless Sticks and the bass sides are covered with, I believe, stainless steel but might be aluminum. Anyway, tapping the string against metal gives an incredible warm yet articulate sound. This should be a cool offering

It would be my guess that the headstock will be bolt on, not one piece, thus allowing Emmett to use a thinner stock of aluminum blank.

That would be a cool custom option: glued wooden stripes to give a more "traditional" neck profile. I guess the wood should be a light and flexible variant, so that truss rod adjustments didn't pop it off the neck...
