You know like how guitarists put their palm down on the bridge and the strings kind of make a more percussive "th-th-th" sound? And there's always the Culbertson low-tech muting system Just seeing this kid jumping all around...priceless...lol.

When he played the buskers festival in my hometown (where this video was shot), he played approximately the same songs every day during a week, but each time IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT WAY. Now that's flabbergasting :-O I noticed that many great musicians are using the same path and they consider this as their "repertoire". When we listen to B.B. King for example there is nothing new but everything like B.B. King sounds like. It's a signature finally.

So many great "stupid questions" Jayesskerr.
It's definitely a part of getting your own concept together as GP said. It's like dreaming big to get your Stick concept ready, helping to fuel your approach to playing this wonderful instrument.

It's not a bad remark...I noticed that my stick sounds perfectly well in a PA if I compare this to a bass amp or a guitar amp or both together. If I can make another comparaison, it's almost like a piano (keyboard) in a PA vs an amp. I prefer a PA on my side. I don't know why...maybe all the frequencies range...honestly, I don't know, but it sounds a way better.

Since Jay has a background in guitar, he may be contrasting the Stick to the vast guitar pickup aftermarket.
