Hey, I'm thinking I should order Greg's "Stick Book, Vol. 1" to arrive with my stick whenever it ships. I'm going with deep baritone melody tuning and would like some opinions on which version to order. I could see how either the matched reciprocal version (essentially just one string difference) or the baritone melody version (2 fret shift) would make sense. I'll make the adjustment either way and I'm looking to get most of my mileage initially out of the bass side anyhow, but I'm open to any opinions/insight.

I would definitely suggest the Baritone Melody version. It's much easier to shift the frets than to shift a string over, especially when you run out of strings...

There's nothing in the book that goes above the 22nd fret.

For those who have a Grand Stick in the Classic tuning, I also recommend the Baritone Melody book. It gives you practice on the lowest melody string, which is more important to get used to than the high melody string because of its placement next to the lowest bass string.
