Post Heavy left handed players
Hiyas.

For those that consider themselves heavier players in the left hand, how long does it take for you to notice the 6th string begins to sound a little dull?

I should say, I used to play far too heavily and have now lightened up a lot.
Just curious what folk think about string health and playing style.

Chairs,

I drum on the bass strings with my right hand 8-)
and play both bass and melody with my left hand.

I also walk up and down the fretboard with my right hand
while alternating between strings on bass or melody sides.

My music involves a lot of pitch bend variations
to emulate the sustained 'Kenny G' style of music.

I love it when the bass side gets dull.... The strings develop a more woody sound. I really dont like that bright tinny sound associated with a lot of stick players. Id rather have a more dark sound on both sides,

I sound like a lawnmower in a screw factory so I really can't comment.
