Well, I’ve been working on the same 25 tunes for 40 years. Every 5-6 years I’ll try to learn a new tune. This year I started a new song, although I doubt I’ll play it in my lifetime.... it’s still nice to try.

Cool, it's really great to see that everyone's keeping busy and staying positive! A very inspiring read! Everyone has a lot on the go!

I kind of worked out Elephant Talk this morning, and I might make up a jam for me to practice some guitar stuff over today- I've kind of re-evaluated how exactly I like guitar and Stick to integrate... perhaps I'll post it...

Also, in respect to gear - I am thinking about an L6 HX stomp for the Stick also - it's small, and it does everything I'd need a processor to do. I tried to play my Grand today but I am really into my Railboard. The poor 12 str sits in the corner...

Hi folks,

Well, I've been practicing deep breathing and staying calm after the delivery of My First Ever Chapman Grand Stick 5 days ago!! Whew! ;-)

Also, I've been reading through Emmett's book "Free Hands" and Steve Adelson's book "Stickology" to get a grip on basic concepts.

And I've started learning the "A" part to Steve Adelson's instrumental "Garden of Limahuli".
Also, I've been in touch with Steve A. about setting up future Skype sessions.

So...life is good! Hope you are all well too.!

I'm finally getting around to something I intended to do 16 years ago when focusing on Grand Stick - baroque keyboard music. I love the Scarlatti sonatas so am trying K380 - not insanely difficult but still a slow process. It's primarily based on the original keyboard score but I'm playing it more in the classical guitar + bass range (an octave lower). Hope to share the complete, more polished version in the not too distant future.

Just finished my first year of jazz tapping guitar class at the local uni. Well, sort of.
The 2-year jazz improv sequence is open to all instruments, so I brought an 8-string tapper and received some excellent instruction (and encouragement.) Will probably return to finish via computer.

Mad Monk.
