Post What is everyone working on?
I know these are tough times, and there is a lot of craziness afoot - but how is everyone doing?
What all are you working on with the Stick? Any big successes? Musical break-throughs?

Me, I'm working on "My Favourite things" on the Railboard. Trying to really bake that sucker in, having fun just playing cool melodies on the Stick...

With the help of Steve A., I've been able to transcribe a few songs. The one I'm working on now is Cavatina. I've got about half of it memorized. Next songs to be completed include Linus & Lucy (from Charlie Brown), and Every Breath You Take. I've got some bugs in one section of Linus and Lucy, the piano break solo.

Right now, I’m working on Take the A Train, and Bach’s Prelude in C Major.

“Very late” and “sacred place” by Ralph Towner.

GoooooldFinger!

The Handel aria “Lascia ch'io pianga” which is is pretty fun to play. One of those that you might not know its name, but you recognize the melody.

I recorded Ralph's "Beneath An Evening Sky" on Stick in the mid 80's.
Great composer and player

on the "classics songs" section -i'm working on
"California Dreamin'"

the song itself is quite easy-but the 2 guitar intro counterpoint is quite a challenge to make it sticky :)

I’m working on a lot right now. Boaz inspired me to try Shape of My Heart. I’m using the beat buddy track I downloaded with this song. I’m also working on Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring by Bach but this is a stick duo arrangement I arranged. Also working on Bach prelude in DMinor BWV 935 and prelude in C major BWV 924. Also invention number 14.. Bach keeps one busy. I’ll post them when I’m happy with them.

Just bought an HX Stomp so will be messing around with that for a while too.

Lots of fun

Rob
