Wes Montgomery with a stick? May I have some doubts?

I'll have to check those out, I'm more familiar with his sell out period stuff; California Dreamin, A Day In The Life, etc. I listen to this stuff all the time, hell Ive listened to my copy of Benson & Farrell so much that my copies got dead spots! Only cool story I've got is I once made and served Wah Wah Watson a pizza :D

And to get back on topic:

I have found that the implementation of my right hands thumb makes playing standard 1-3-5 major/minor chords way easier to play with one hand! It feels like less of a contortionist act and works with my existing muscle memory. I do T-root 1-dominant 2-leading tone shapes

I understand that jazz legends are people too but I'd still be nervous as a child around that guy  I'd be like "M-m-m-mr. Benson, your guitar sound good. I like ur records. Nice to meet you sir...."

George is a very kind and generous man. You would feel relaxed with him in a minute.
He asked me to play for him and was very excited after I played Wes's Fried Pies.
I hope to play some duets with him sometime soon. The effort is being made.
I've found that most big name players I've met are very curious and supportive of The Stick.. A truly amazing experience about 15 years ago was jamming with Pat Metheny and giving him a short Stick lesson, He was extremely inquisitive about the instrument. A highlight
