That should be all you need. There are different variations just like a regular ten string
but I chose Bob's because of your inspiration
. Try not to tune too high because you can breaka string. It is important to have the right tuning with the right strings but the idea is a little
overrated for someone new to the Stick. Just get it playable so you can explore the instrument.
Also just to get a little technical about terms
"Classic" or "Classic Tuning" is a real Stick tuning for "The Stick". "Classic guitar" is not but there is a "Guitar Intervals" tuning. I reccomend that you stay with "Bobs Expanded" which is Matched Reciprocal" for the Alto. Guitar Intervalsis much harder to learn even if you are familiar with the guitar. the Stick is not a guitar
and it can be more confusing when we try to make it work that way.
