Post Streaming DVD sources?
I'm looking for some beginner learning materials, but don't have a DVD player anymore, and none of my computers have one anymore.

Didn't know if there was a streaming source (like homespun or TrueFire) for stick stuff, or if there was a downloadable option.

Also any recommendations on books and or dvds is very appreciated.

I have a good music theory foundation, and coming to the stick for guitar/bass/mandolin/pedal and lap steel.

Thanks, ad

Hey Adam, I can't speak for streaming stuff, but I do have a Youtube channel that teaches the Stick, as well as a wealth of curriculum on my Patreon hosted Stick school, Tap Theory. A small monthly subscription grants you access to tons of tabs, exercises and theory charts/fretboard cutaways. It updates twice a month with content ranging from just getting started to advanced players that have been at it for years. It might be a solution to your problem! http://www.patreon.com/jgoldbergmusic

Josh's videos are great. Presented effectively, and with a sense of humor that makes it worthy of repeated visits.

Also, you may want to try skype lessons with any/all of the top instructors.

Buy the book. Whenever I use streaming video, it times out. This can be annoying. If you have two hands on your stick, you'll need to take a break to move the mouse to prevent it from timing out
