Here is a really good teaching site on theory, if anyone is interested. Being a novice i find the lessons and reference material extremely useful, the site is mobile friendly and well designed. www.teoria.com Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk |

I would like something on stacked chords - I see this mentioned on Stickist sometimes - I could sure use an article/blog that starts from the harmonised major scale and explains how stacking major in left and minor in right actually works (for example). Or just a list of purdy combinations that work together. I don't have a frame of reference for this yet. Anyone got any pointers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I refer to stacked chords as poly chords. Check p.p. 37-40 in Stickology book i.e Cm extended= C Eb G Bb D F A Play Cmi in the bass Play any 3 consecutive notes in the extended C minor on the treble side Each 3 consecutive group is its own triad. Example... Bb D F is a Bb Major chord but also functions as b7 9 11 of C minor Steve A |
