Re: Violin tape? (UK)
Thanks Kevin. I looked at those but they seem to be decorative - everything from swords to skulls - but I couldn't see any simple lines to stick onto the fretboard?

Re: Violin tape? (UK)
Good point Mr Powers. I've ordered some 3mm in white but the idea of writing note names is great. I'll get some 6mm as well...

Re: Violin tape? (UK)
Swords and skulls,.....who could ask for anything more? Eheh.... I swear they had some tortoise shell linears but I could be mistaken. I put some Irish crosses on my graphite Stick.....they're pretty swag. Prior to that I did use the automotive pinstripe which actually worked very well, and it comes in different colours too, although I used white against the black graphite.
Cheers, Mary Eaubrutha

Re: Violin tape? (UK)
My first Stick was an older one with the inlay dots all the way to one side, not centered. I went the fretboard tape route for a while because of that. I ended up buying some from a site dedicated to stringed instruments and their accessories, but it was almost 5 years ago and I'm hanged if I can remember its name. But try The Woodwind and Brasswind to start; if not there HAVE to be a lot more sites dedicated to band/orchestral instruments.

Anyone tried Brother 'Label Maker' tape? You can use the Label Maker to print your notes.
