Post The 6 week practice routine - Week 4
So its been 4 weeks on the ship now, I've had my hands on the instrument every day for at least nearly an hour as a minumum , often more. Feeling like having a day off but its been well worth it, I can see ( hear ! ) the difference for sure , I've sorted out some of my originals and others into complete pieces. As a marker i played the whole lot tonight, timed each track, and it added up to about 45 mins with no chat etc between songs so thats enough.
Time to get back into some other learning on the fretboard, theory and knowledge stuff, Independence exercises, whilst polishing things up.
Could do With going home though to see that new Grand that arrived 3 days before I left.... :ugeek:

Cool man.....a complete 45 min set now!
That's a lot of material really when you think about it eh?

How much time do you get on terra firma between your pirate raids? 4 weeks on the water seems to be quite a stretch. Bet you were missing the new grand.....

cheers,
kev

Bruce, I bet even you won't recognize yourself playing when those 6 weeks are over! I'm dying to listen to you again!
Kev, I think the grand misses him back!

The grand flew down for a surprise visit last night!

It definitely misses you back Pirate. I gave it milk and cookies and said it won't be long till Daddy's home.

Hi Kev, yes I did stop and think for a moment that 45 mins was not a bad effort.
Normally away for 4 to 5 weeks , then the same time off, doing longer trip to take about 6 to 7 weeks off through summer holidays. Many musical targets to try and hit in that period.
so I only work half the year but its done in non stop chunks.
Cheers
