Re: Interesting Stick LP going for $50
Thanks for the link. If I had a turntable, I might bid... I have a fascination with early Stick players. I've only met a couple - Bob Culbetson and Jeff Norem of Houston) The only info on Brian Dorr I found was a post on StickWire from 2000. Sorry to hear he passed on. - http://home.ease.lsoft.com/scripts/wa-h ... =&P=141340Brian Baggett Fort Qu'Appelle, SK

I was unaware of him. I would love to hear his music.

Speaking of early Stick players, I still hear Daniel Kane's name mentioned every now and then. Next to Bob C and Tony Levin, his name comes up almost as often. A lot of people have seen him (and Bob) busking in San Francisco.
Cheers, Andy

Re: Interesting Stick LP going for $50
I'd be very interested to put my hands of such vintage recordings, I always found that these very first players have something "special". Do you guys think that It would be "illegal" to put some mp3s to download if these cds/lps are not available and the player not active?

Re: Interesting Stick LP going for $50
So I stumbled onto this album and attempted to do a little research on it. I then stumbled onto this forum and joined so I could inform everyone that I decided to take the risk and buy it (mostly because the price had actually gone down to $30 by the time I came across it) and that I am also going to upload the tracks to youtube. I'll provide the link here once I do so, so stay posted!

I bought a copy of this vinyl a year ago. Nice vintage sound and playing, with some serious licks.

Yea, an 81 LP named firestick! Gotta be the fire! And agreed we need this as mp3s due to its rareness. I wonder how many vinyl gems are being lost in time...
