I met Brian Dorr when I joined the band, "Ashley Pond", in Albuquerque, NM, in 1980. He was playing Bass, Guitar & Stick. We played Top 40 R&R and Brian integrated the Stick into this format very well. We also played together for a few years as a 3 piece Jazz group (Stick/Sax/Drums). Brian was a nice guy, a great friend and an amazing musician. I still mourn his passing. He actually helped Emmitt Chapman develop some of the ancillary gear for the Stick. I still have a vinyl copy of his album. Maybe his widow, Laurie(sp?) Dorr, might know if there are more copies available of the album. Firestick featured some great local musicians...solid performances all the way around!
