Post Invitation
Hi Everyone,

With the new edition of the forum, Manny has been kind enough to set aside a special section for posts about Stick-inspired instruments and musicians who use Emmett's Free Hands method on instruments other than The Stick, whether on conventional guitar and bass or on specialty fretboard tapping instruments.

Hopefully, this section of the forum, as well as the section dedicated to the method itself, will encourage some cross-pollenation of ideas between players of various instruments who share this common playing method.

Hi Manny & Greg,

The title of this section is a little ambiguous, can we also use this section for general music discussion that might not be tapping-related at all? We used to have an area on the old forums for that, was reasonably popular as a lot of us have similar music tastes.

Cheers,

Justin

Hi Justin,

I agree with you. This particular section should probably be in the "Stick related" group, it's really intended for posting about other tapping instruments and players whose instruments are derived from The Stick or whose technique is the same as Emmett Free Hands method.

I think the "inspirations" section might cover what you are talking about.
