Acoustic Tapping Instruments other than Dragonfly?

I found the idea of acoustic tapping instrument really appealing, but from the videos loaded on Youtube, I found the sound not so good : too much "fingers noises", as if the strings were quite high from the neck and the musician has to tap strong to play notes. I'll pass.
The action is pretty low . Not railboard low, but very playable. It’s does take some work technique wise to get better at reducing squeaks along with setting up the mic vs piezo mixing a bit. If you listen to some of rodrigos videos you get a better idea idea of what kind of squeakiness you can expect. Also the nylons are a lot squeakier when they are brand new.
