Invitation to Tappistry general tap guitar / tapping forum
The Tappistry forum is back online, under new ownership and active again. For the first time it is not owned by Megatar but by a Stick player from the Stickist forum. The Stickist forum will always, of course, be the primary place for Stick discussion, but we invite anyone to join the only general tap guitar / tapping forum (outside of facebook). Those who own non-Stick instruments may be particularly interested. (Note that all facebook content is completely blocked to those not signed up to facebook, which is roughly half of those on the internet. I feel it is important to keep forums outside facebook alive to avoid yet more communities falling into the facebook black hole and becoming a part of its content monopoly.) http://www.tappistry.org

Boy, not a single reply.... I for one am glad Tappistry is back up and running, as for me - that's a good place to be since I am primarially a non-Stick player - even though I own one. *Long story not worth repeating.... Cheers !!

sounds very passive aggressive. Are you the owner of the forum? Trying to recruit Chevy guys on a Ford page may be a hard thing to do. You are coming across angry, as I may have in the past, but i am trying to relax more these days. It is very difficult to understand people from their posts, as there are not enough emotional expressions on the keyboard. Written words can be interpreted in many different ways.
If you have a problem with Stick Ent. or people who play Sticks. Say what you mean. Let it out. Express yourself.

Where is the "passive aggressive"-ness in that opening paragraph from ixlramp? Where does anyone express any "problems" with Stick Ent or anyone at all? What telepathic powers do you possess that lets you know that someone is not saying what they mean, and need to "let it out"? What the hell, reystick? Don't react to things that aren't even happening except possibly in your own head, maybe? (I don't mean that adversarially and I'm happy to supply some emoticons, but again, what the hell, sir?) ixlramp wrote: The Tappistry forum is back online, under new ownership and active again. Cheers !! It was the statement by big George, not ixlramp.. Things only happen in my head. I apologize. It just seems that big George was upset, about the tappistry site not getting replies, and not getting the correct strings from SE. It seemed he was complaining in a round about way, about Stick players and SE, in two different posts. I do not understand, that's why I was asking for an explanation. Sorry if I offended anyone I just want to make things clear.

Ah, okay! Ironically I was trying to head off a flame war before it started. Hope I didn’t start one instead! Thanks, ReyStick!

Re: Invitation to Tappistry general touchguitar / tapping fo
whoa... where is the love brother !!
I was just musing to xlramp about no acknowledgement to his post, and no I am not the owner of that forum, someone from here is running the show over there.
I am however considering starting up an Experimental Music forum, or at least joining one - if such a thing even exits....
No passive aggression from me, I'm too old for that crap.
Like I've mentioned before, it's all good.
Everybody.. BIG (((((Hugs)))))
