Re: RE: Teflon Instruments - Roli SeaBoard Grand
I have the seaboard block and a roli block. And a loop block as well. I love these and use them a fair bit. I know Japhet Bire Attias uses the seaboard block. The seaboard block was a great intro price. I might buy a second one as 2octaves is almost to small. A second one would give me what I need. I don’t need the full keyboard. Great sounds I used it in the video below. . The string part starts at 2:27

I've got the Seaboard Block and the Roli Block as well. I did one song with it, here:
Sol Invictus
My kids use it on their iphones and the apps are pretty cool.
As for the larger Roli Seaboard Grand, i actually passed on that, based on my experience with the smaller Block, and went with the Linnstrument instead. It's far too soon to tell if that was the right decision, but I don't need a large soft keyboard. I am enjoying a keyboard tuned in fourths, like the melody side of Stick.
Good luck with the Grand! It's a fine product in the category.

It's quite obvious that when we play the stick we are also attracted by the keys. Very often I use to say...more I play my stick better I am on piano and...more I play piano I'm improving on my stick. There is a close relationship between these instruments.

I haven’t looked at Cypher 2 yet. Not sure I will Looks like a synth generating type thing. I’m not into making my own patches at this time I have enough problem finding time for other things. Lol.
Yeah, I love mine. Complete game changer to be able to play and manipulate the sound with one hand, leaving the other for the Stick.
Very Cool!

I have the Roli Seaboard Block as well as the Lightpad Block, and for what I do - I love them! Really awesome! I will probably buy another Seaboard Block so I can have another two octaves.
