Post Melodics
Anyone use and subscribe to Melodics? Is it worth it ? If you use it do you find it helps with Stick playing? I’m guessing if you are an awesome finger drummer you can transfer those skills to Stick. I have to say my piano playing has improved due to playing Stick so I’m guessing it might work the other way as well. I assume finger drumming will help with independence.

Post Re: Melodics
Well I pulled the trigger and got a years subscription to Melodics. I can see it will help me rhythmically and with playing different rhythms with different fingers. (Sound familiar? ) I got the free trial and noticed there are things that are difficult so being challenged is good.
I can see myself playing drum looos and playing Stick over them in the future. I’ll keep people posted if this was a dumb idea or a good one.

It was just shy of 120 for the year. When I went to buy the annual subscription it screwed up and said 240. I emailed melodics and they fixed it so it’s 120 for the year. 9.99 a month but paid up front. It’s certainly a fun way to learn finger drumming. Like playing guitar hero but that you are learning to play. I have an Irig drum pad and a roll lightblock both work on melodics. Any drum pad should work or just use an iPad. Definitely try out the free version first.
