Very cool! Thanks for posting, I've never seen an instrument like that.

Why are some people born perfect? Musically that is, or maybe it's the totality.

And what a gutsy rendition of what's best from America overlaid with explosive string expression and textured nuances from the Far East.

Luna is an inspiring performer, probably brought back from the future.

This instrument is called a "Guzheng". Below is a video of a traditional composition.
Very mesmerizing and beautiful, but as I was watching and listening I thought that
this is instructional for Stickist's and two hand independence. Just watch how she is
handling the bass side ;). The melody side is just floating and dancing in and out of
the subtle 'motor' of the left hand :|. She's great, the pacing is just about perfect and
yet if you watch what she is doing, the left hand still has the ability to change it up from time to time.

You can get some of these sounds with a hammer dulcimer if you play it table-harp style
like she does .

Just saying... :|.

The left-hand pitch bending of individual strings within a chord is kinda like a manually operated pedal steel. I once saw a Chinese guy busking up at Universal City playing one of these with his right hand while tapping on a Strat, Stick style with his left hand and singing Hendrix songs in Chinese. Only in L.A.....
